You might have noticed we’re on the move. We’re making a long haul up to Valparaiso, Indiana for a conference and then heading over to Minnesota and South Dakota for a family and friend visit.
It’s been work as usual for Karen while Al and the kiddos have done some good sight seeing in the towns we’ve stopped at along the way.
We camped in Arlington, Texas at a lovely lovely RV Park for a few days. I meet up with some work mates for a coworking day and the family explored Dallas: Zoo and Science Museum in Fort Worth and Dallas, Hear Museum in McKinney, Stadiums, and the Texas Motor Speedway. Fun fact, our favorite little (big) hippo, Boopy, from Albuquerque, moved to the Dallas Zoo, so it was fun to see her again. We wrapped our time in Dallas up with a family outing to see Dealy Plaza where JFK was shot.
Next up we hauled over to Hot Springs, Arkansas to explore the Hot Springs National Park and the Alligator Farm. Super quaint little town, you should check it out if you’re ever in the area. Plus, who wouldn’t want to touch an Alligator? Uh, me. But the kids loved it.
After leaving super steamy HOT Hot Springs we’ve been making our way up to Middlebury, Indiana to get a tour of the Jayco factory tomorrow. We have an appointment to get a couple things looked at. We’re pretty excited actually. Stay tuned for more on that.
