If you’re expecting a post with pictures of the Strip and various casinos you can stop reading. Here is how I do Vegas:
While Al and the two older kids were at the Higher Things Conference at UNLV, the two younger boys and I hung out at Arizona Charlie’s RV Park, tried to stay cool in the trailer during the day and with daily breaks to stay cool in the pool.
Once the conference ended, we went to dinner with Al’s cousin Leslie and her significant other. Al and Leslie haven’t seen each other for 33 years, but it was like no time had gone by at all. Super great to see her.
To sum up, this is about as exciting as Las Vegas got for us. But I’m ok with that, this isn’t our first trip there and assuredly not our last and it was nice to have a week of down time after our flurry of activity up to this point.
