Daytona and Titusville, Florida

We had a bit of excitement in the Titusville. One morning we woke up and our electrical system wasn’t working. Which meant no air conditioning. In Florida. In September. It was hot. But there was nothing to be done as it was a weekend and too late to call a mechanic. We bought some fans and ran an extension cord to the electrical post in our parking spot.

So what did we do in the Daytona area?

Well, we drove by the speedway of course.

We saw a turtle munching grass.

We went to the beach. The waves were pretty intense. Not our favorite beach, but we did enjoy seeing the Cape Canaveral launch pads from the beach and we made a mahi-mahi in the sand.

Al and the kids spent time exploring the area and finding great trails.

They also spotted manatees.
