We’ve been in Northern California for a few days and the visibility ranges from terrible to not great. We can tell it’s sunny, somewhere out beyond the haze of smoke. Basically there are fires everywhere. We’ve not seen any, but as we drive along the highways we’ve seen the aftermath of fires in the ditches along the road. Fire danger signs all indicate the fire risk as Extremenly High.
We all feel fine, but we can feel the effects in our throats and noses. Just a sort of mild feeling raspiness and a faint scent of smoke everywhere. Here’s the air quality map for the area:
