North Cascades National Park

Our stop in North Cascades National Park was lovely. The weather was sunny and warm and what we thought were a couple really short ambles ended up being a perfect 4 mile hike through rainforest like woods, past a blue green river, across a suspension bridge, into a quaint old town, past a picturesque power plant (really!), and up the side of a hill to a crystal clear pool under a waterfall.

Gorgeous.

Oh, and the most disgustingly enormous slugs everywhere.
