During our travels, sometimes I have work events that I have to go to, so the kids and Al head off to entertain themselves. There is no lack of amazing places to visit in the Pacific Northwest, so this is not usually a hardship. This set of images from Craters of the Moon in Idaho (circa 9/15/16) is the first in a series of their travels sans Mom. When I left them in Salt Lake City, the weather was lovely and warm. As you can see, it’s pretty cloudy and the coats were retrieved from the RV under-bed storage compartment.
The kids report that this stop was a highlight despite the weather.
