On our last trip to Arizona, I got it in my head that we should take a look at other trailers, just to see what’s out there. We saw the coolest Winnebago trailer at a dealer in Tucson. We went so far as to start talking about a deal.
Well, one thing led to another and we started looking at Class C motorhomes again. Al spent a few weeks researching motorhomes all over the US. We were this close to driving to Florida to get one we had our sights set on.
After going back and forth between Jayco and Winnebago, we settled on a Jayco Redhawk. This beauty came to us all the way from Richardson RV in sunny Mennifee, California.
Getting this rig was an adventure that involved an Amtrak to another state, early morning pickups, and a fast drive home.
I’ve spend the last few days getting everything ship shape.
Can’t wait to take the new coach out for a good long trip.
So then will you be driving it to Austin, Texas for Aaron’s wedding?
That would be amazing, but we can’t! I am organizing a WordCamp here in ABQ on the day of their wedding 😦 but we are planning a trip there in May.
