One of the things that made us fall in love with Albuquerque was the hot air balloons. When we moved there we thought it was neat that our old and new homes shared the love of ballooning. South Dakota doesn’t have an International Balloon Fiesta like ABQ does, but it has a rich ballooning history and it did used to have a huge balloon museum that, when it closed, the contents went to none other than the Balloon Museum in ABQ.
