Miles walked: KA and LK 4.2. Boys 5ish. Al 7.5
Parks visited: Arches redux
- Left camper at noon
- Delicate Arch viewpoint which was closed the first day due to rains
- Stopped at Skyline Arch
- Went to Devils Garden Trailhead
- Ate sandwiches in the busy parking lot (tons of people there)
- Walked 4.2 mile trail. Again, tons of people. Most stopped at the Landscape Arch and turned back, but some went on to the end
- Frank saw a snake in a bush
- There was a primitive loop back to the parking lot, but we opted to double back the way we came
- We did good with water quantities, and the trail was shaded a lot
- Picnicked at a little nook close by Trail Broken Arch trail. Al took the trial while we ate.
- Super cute little birds tried to eat our food
- Back to camper
- Kids played a little outside in the playground
- Snacked on toast and popcorn
