If you thought Nebraska was just flat boring plains, you were wrong. Well, mostly right, but the west side of the state has some gorgeous bluffs, rolling hills, and lush landscapes. We stopped at this quiet little recreation area and hiked most of the 5 miles of trails. We saw a couple dead snakes, a flock of wild turkeys, and more song birds that I can mention.
