We had a brief stop in Carpinteria for our second dramatic occurrence of the trip. We had a mishap where a tree limb met the air conditioner on the top of our trailer. The kids played at the beach while Al figured out what to do.
We ended up driving back to Ventura to an RV dealer that said they could fix us up and have us on our way back toward San Francisco.
Booked into a hotel, I worked while Al took the kids on some outings.
Next day, still waiting for the van, we took a drive over to the Ventura Pier.
When we finally got the van back, we headed back toward San Francisco, stopping overnight in Morro Bay and a pretty sweet shot of Frank jumping into the water.
